Yahoo Web Messenger

Connect with friends from any web browser!!!

Yahoo! launches a free web-based interface to Yahoo Messenger. It would be pretty useful if you want to chat with Yahoo friends without downloading any software.  The site is entirely developed using Flash and the URL is simple to rememeber http:/web.im. For more details check out  here which contains a video explaining the features.

So Yahoo! is just trying to reinvent the wheel as there are many other web based instant messaging services like  Zoho Chat, KoolIM, Meebo, eBuddy.
