Chess Chess Chesss!!!!

During my weekends I used to play lotz of chess games online in Yahoo Chess as I said earlier here. Today as being an enjoyable weekend :) I took my laptop and started playing games. To have more FUN I decided not to play with my existing id, So I opened up a new yahoo id and started with 0 points.

Here goes my statistics:

Games Completed: 32

Wins: 27

Losses: 5

Draws: 0

Streak: 16.

You know my rating is now 1561 :)

After one day I played 32 games and won 27 and lost only 5 :) My streak is 16 which means I continuously won 16 games :)

Update: I crossed 1600 mark successfully :) and my rating is now 1608 and the streak is 23. I have one more good news to share with u. Im going to participate in State level Chess competition which is to be held on 27th & 28th of Oct @ Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, Chennai. If u wanna meet me plz drop me a line here.. Please pray for me so that I can grab the championship :)

Google Reader Sucks.

I used to check out the current news and other IT web2.0 news using Google Reader. Today it didnt allowed me to login. When I signin it just shows the Google Reader Home and redirects me to login page again. I tried more than 5 times in different browsers and platform but all went in vain. It throws me out to login page everytime eventhough my login credentials are authenticated.

I found the following err. using Firebug

Error: missing } in XML expression source File: http://www.google.com/reader/ui/1605981841-scroll.js
Line: 569, Column: 23 Source Code: body {font-family: arial,sans-serif}

and

Error: uncaught exception: Security Error: Content at http://www.google.com/reader/view/ may not load data from https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?hl=en&nui=1&service=reader blah blah

In my previous post I said Google might rule even the world, but now these kind of issues would frustrate power users like me.
Google Reader SUCKS :(

Update: Right after this post I tried again but now Im able to login without any script errs.

Gmail Storage Space updated.

Google’s Gmail is rapidly increasing the users storage space. Today Gmail login page is updated and it has following script which has the storage estimation.

The above numbers are timestamps in Epoch format. So on conversion the entries indicates that the storage would be

1. 2912MB by October 11, 2007

2. 4.2 GB by 23rd of this month(October)

3. 6GB by Jan 4th 2008

4. 42GB by the year of 2038

5. Last but not the least, 2.70266701 × 1072 TB* by 3456

The last two entries are quite unbelievable. But who knows Google can rule the world at that time :)
